A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sacked Evangelist Michael Diden, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta South Senatorial District in the 2023 election.
According to a report by Urhobotoday, Evangelist Diden, popularly known as Ejele was removed over forgery of his WAEC certificate and date of birth.
He was dragged to court over the forgery after he won the Delta South Senatorial ticket in which he polled 176 votes out of 272.
He defeated a former House of Representatives member, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, Chief Oghogho Ayodele Ithihiwa and one-time Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kent Omatsone, with 48, 46 and 2 votes respectively.
