Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Vice-Presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar under PDP and the Governor of Delta State has expressed worries that Labour Party and its Presidential candidate, Peter Obi might face a big challenge of popularity in the 2023 elections in Anambra state.
Okowa, who boasted that his party would emerge strong at the polls in 2023 said he received massive support during his visit to Anambra State.
The Governor maintained that the South East has always been a safe zone for his PDP. He further alleged that the party will emerge victorious even in the state of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.
“I was marveled at what I saw in Anambra State this afternoon, I am worried that Labour Party is in trouble. The strong men and women of the PDP here in Anambra State deserve my gratitude. I believe with this, the PDP in Anambra will be a force to reckon with come 2023,” Okowa said.
