
GrassRoot Marshall 4 Omo-Agege, a consolidated group supporting the Delta State gubernatorial bid of DSP Ovie Omo-Agege, who is contesting under the banner of All Progressive Congress (APC), has elected three national officers to pilot the affairs of the group.
The Marshalls, in a meeting held at Isiokolo, Headquarters of Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, with members from the three Senatorial Districts of Delta State in attendance; elected Chief (Engr.) Anthony Ochuko Onyokoko (Ethiope East) as the Chairman; while Mr. Alvan Enukegwu (Ndokwa West) was elected the National Secretary and Augustine Chukwudi (Ndokwa East); the Director, Media and Publicity.
In the acceptance speech on behalf of the officers, the Chairman, Chief (Engr.) Onyokoko said that the positions come with high responsibilities which would only be achieved if the group work with dedication and as a team to ensure victory for the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege in the 2023 general elections.



The Chairman further urged the grass root group to be fully committed to the cause, be united always and to carry out their responsibilities with transparency and accountability to deliver on the mandate. He also advised the officers and members to establish structures in their wards, units local government areas as well as senatorial districts to ensure grass root mobilization towards voting massively for DSP Omo-Agege in the election.
Speaking prior to the election, the founding member and Ex-Chairman of GrassRoot 4 Omo-Agege, Mr. Johnson Okoro, who is now the State Organizing Secretary for APC, said all indicators are in favour of DSP Ovie Omo-Agege in the election. He therefore called on the group to redouble their efforts toward ensuring resounding victory for the APC candidate.
Mr. Okoro extolled the sterling qualities of Ovie Omo-Agege and his vision of reinventing Delta State as well as harnessing its resources for the benefit of all Deltans.
He assured the grass root group of support at all levels of the party to make their outreach to the various units, wards, districts and other segments in the state easier.

Highpoint of the meeting was the unveiling of campaign vehicle donated by the Chairman, Chief (Engr.) Anthony Ochuko Onyokoko to the GrassRoot Marshall 4 Omo-Agege.
Barr. (Chief) Godwin Eko lauded the kind gesture of the chairman who he said, has been deploying his personal resources towards the group. He called on others to emulate the chairman in order to make the group’s outreach easier and impactful.
Among those who attended the meeting were; Barr. Henry Ogidiagba, Mr. Moses Ogbekene, Mrs. Believe Nakpodia and other APC stalwarts in Delta State.
