Three persons are feared dead in a ghastly accident involving a Toyota Camry car and two cows along Refinery Road, Uvwie Local Government Area, near Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that the accident occured early this morning, Saturday 6.
The driver and two other occupants of the car were heading to Ekpan Police Station area when their vehicle rammed into the two large cows.
The accident caused the vehicle to veer off the road, and rammed into the Nigerian Navy Station’s fence along the road.
At the time of filing this report, the two cows were lying dead on the road, while the severely injured occupants of the car were said to have been evacuated to hospital.
Vehicle owners and passersby besieged the scene to catch a glimpse of the badly damaged car and the dead cows.
Policemen and soldiers were sighted at the scene, apparently to forestall break down of law and order.
