Nigeria ace journalist, Reuben Abati has reacted to Ifeanyi Okowa’s submission that Labour Party (LP) presidential flag bearer in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi lacks the experience to govern Nigeria as a president.
Recall that the governor of Delta State and vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections had said that the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the LP, Peter Obi lacks the required experience needed to be president of Nigeria.
Okowa’s assertion has since triggered several reactions among Nigerians; including politicians and analysts.
In his reaction, Reuben Abati stated that Nigerians are in a time when they are beginning to ask their potential presidents questions. According to Reuben,
“No one has come up with a certificate issues against Peter Obi and that is a good step to begin with”.
He stressed that no one is actually expecting Ifeanyi Okowa to speak good of Petet Obi at a time that he is the vice presidential candidate of the PDP.
Peter Obi is the presidential candidate of labour party and Okowa is Atiku’s running mate on the platform of the PDP for the 2023 presidential election.
