
The remains of Senator Patrick Enebeli Osakwe, popularly known as “Evidence” who died on March 15, 2022 in London, United Kingdom (UK) will be interred on Friday, August 19, 2022, per a statement by his son, Sir Christopher Osakwe.
Senator Osakwe, a business mogul, represented Delta North from 1999 t0 2007 died at the age of 73.
He was the founder and the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of; Flash Airlines, Flash Flamingos Football Club, Flash Pools, Evidence Motors Limited, and other business ventures.
According to the statement signed by his son, Christopher, a former Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Council and currently, Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa; there will be a novelty football match on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City between Flash Flamingos and All Stars of Benin starting from 4 pm.
On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, his body will arrive Benin City in a motorcade to his residence at 2pm, and thence to St. Paul Catholic Church, 30 Airport Road, Benin City, for a Vigil Mass at 4 pm.
“Thursday, August 18, 2022; body departs for his home town, Ugiliamai, Onicha-Ukwuani, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State at 8 am. Vigil Mass at St. St. Augustine Catholic Church, Ugiliamai at 4 pm.
“On Friday, August 19, 2022, Funeral Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Ugiliamai at 10 am. Internment follows at his residence. Reception of guests at Mixed Secondary School, Ugiliamai at 1 pm.”
