The sortings and counting of ballot papers has commenced as votings have been concluded in almost every polling units in the ongoing governorship election in Osun state.

The election, according to reports from observers across the state, is adjudged peaceful.

It was however gathered, at the time of filing this report, that votings are still on going in some polling stations in Boripe, Ede North, Ife East, Olorunda local government areas.

There are large turnout of voters, even as the two leading candidates in the election, Governor Gboyega Oyetola of All Progressives Congress and Senator Ademola Adeleke commended the conduct of the exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
