Members of Ughoton community in Lagos have donated more furniture to students of Esezi Secondary School Ughoton, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

While presenting the desk to the school during the community annual conference held on the 25th-26th June, 2022 in the community, the Chairman of Ughoton Community, Lagos Branch, Pastor Macaulay Ejoh said, members of the Lagos Branch had to donate the furniture to ameliorate the suffering of the students after viewing images of the students on social media receiving lectures while sitting on the floor of the classrooms.

Chief Mark Ugborutu, the Ologen of Okpe kingdom and other high ranking personalities, including Mr. Pupu Aturhomemro (JP), Mr. Saturday Ojogwa and other Chiefs of the community, on behalf of the students, expressed appreciation to the Lagos Branch for their kind gestures and magnanimity. They called on other groups, public spirited individuals as well as corporate organisations to emulate the Ughoton Lagos Branch to assist the school authority in creating conducive environment for learning in the school.

Recall that the indigenes of the community had donated desks and chairs to students of the school after the social media images.
