Only two delegates voted for Senator Shehu Sani, in Kaduna Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primary election.

Delegates have been smiling to the banks since the primaries for the 2023 elections kicked off a few days back.

Reportedly, aspirants who lost the legislative primary in Kaduna demanded a refund of the millions of naira they bribed the delegates with.

Sani had said the aspirants used hunters and vigilantes to recover over N100 million.

But before the governorship primary, Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial district from 2015 to 2019, had vowed not to pay delegates for their votes.

After losing the election, he said the two delegates that voted for him did so without collecting a kobo.
In a social media post, he said, “The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries has been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won. I wish to congratulate him.

“Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime. Unfortunately, I don’t know who they are, so I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward.”

Meanwhile, Sani is being mocked on Twitter:
