
The Police in Delta State have arrested suspects in connection with the mysterious death of Miss Adegor Rukevwe Sophia, a female student of the State’s University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, in Isoko North Local Council of the state.
Spokesperson for the state Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident yesterday, said some management staff, including the hotel manager, have been arrested in connection with the death of the student.

Edafe said the deceased’s body was not in any way mutilated nor was the head severed from the body. The Guardian learnt that the female student reportedly died in a room at Palm Hotel, Ozoro, where her lifeless body was found with arms and legs tied.
According to Sources, the management of the hotel, upon the discovery of the corpse, reported the incident at Ozoro Police Station and were promptly arrested as principal suspects.
The suspects were transferred to the state Headquarters in Asaba, where they are being interrogated and full investigation had commenced. Police sources also confirmed that remains of the deceased were deposited in an undisclosed hospital morgue.
