Human rights activist and presidential candidate under the African Action Congress, (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, in a post on his Facebook page, has described Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike as “criminally-minded, corrupt, thug and murderous”.
Sowore was reacting to Wike’s declaration of interest to contest for presidency in the 2023 election.
Wike had during a visit to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Sunday declared his intention to run for the presidency in 2023 under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Sowore, Pls this isn’t the time for criticism. Rather the periods of rescues for the country. The achievements of Nyesom Wike are more than enough for him as qualified Presidential candidate with the overwhelming sense of hard works, prudent, visionary, younger, and with integrity.
