▪︎Accused children of stealing food at a neighbour’s house
The Police in Ughoton, Ughoton have arrested a man (name withheld) in Ugbokodo, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta for burning his two children, aged eight and twelve years with hot iron for stealing food at a neighbour’s house.
According to the video shared by the neighbour at Ughoton Police Station, the children said they ‘stole’ food at their neighbour’s house because they were hungry and that their father was not feeding them and taking care of them like father would.
The father has been arrested by the police for the harsh treatment on the children, and is currently cooling his heels at Ughoton Police Station, Okpe Local Government Area.
