Armed robbers in the early hours of Tuesday, March 22 (today) raided the homes of residents of God Grace Street, Otokutu, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Our reporter gathered that the hoodlums broke into a fenced compound in the street while the residents were sleeping. The robbers were boldly confronted by the landlord, and fled on noticing the courage of the landlord to stand up to them.
It was however gathered that the robbers had attacked and shot one Mr. Stanley, a security guard and other residents in the streets before they were repelled by the landlord.
The victims shot during the robbery have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the area for treatment.
It could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report if the police have been alerted on the incident.
