Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma on the developmental strides being witnessed in Imo State.
Speaking during his 86th birthday celebration, hosted by the Governor at the state’s Banquet Hall, Government House, Imo State; Obasanjo called for improved engagements with genuinely frustrated members of the society to de-escalate conflict and promote peace.
Also speaking at the ceremony, Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed appreciation to the former President for his supports and contributions to development in Nigeria.
“Baba, as he is fondly called, remains a pan-Nigerian who has contributed greatly to the progress, development and unity of our nation.”
“As he continues to enjoy the blessings of God with longevity, we will continue to tap from his wisdom in nation building and economic growth,” the Governor stated.
