The proprietor of ‘Noble Hotel’, in the university community of Abraka, Delta State has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing his security guard to death.

The hotelier who was yet to be identified at the time of filing this report was said to have stabbed the victim to death after robbers invaded his hotel and he was unable to provide proof of being at his duty post.

It was gathered that the suspect questioned the security guard about his whereabout when robbers invaded the hotel, but when he was unable to give a satisfactory answer, the suspect broke a bottle and attacked him with the weapon.

The suspect allegedly ‘sensed danger’ when the security guard started to bleed profusely.

He contacted the police to arrest the security guard who died before the arrival of the police.

The hotel owner was consequently arrested.
