The Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State has commenced block moulding at the school site in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area.
This was made known by the Deputy President of Senate (DPS), Ovie Omo-Agege.
Following the approval of the polytechnic by President Muhammadu Buhari, which was conveyed through circular; DHE/POLY/39/C.1/I/84 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Sonny S. T. Echono; the DPS has been working round the clock to ensure commencement of the construction works.
The Polytechnic is expected to commence academic activities in September this year.
