Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Delta, DSP Bright Edafe said nine persons have been arrested in connection to the killing of ‘Sapele Vigilante Commander’ , Victor Lucky.
He was reportedly killed around 7 pm on Friday at Okpe Junction, a few meters away from police and military checkpoints.
Before his brutally murder, he was the Vigilante Commander in Sapele township, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Lucky was reportedly ambushed by five gunmen armed with AK-47 rifles when he was returning from venue of a burial ceremony.
