In a ghastly incident, a woman killed her husband, cut his head, and surrendered with it at the police station in Renigunta town of Chittoor district of India on Thursday, 20 January.
The gory incident scared many people who took to their heels in panic, on sighting the woman in bloodstained clothes; bearing a severed human head with blood dripping.
The policemen at the station were in utter confusion when she arrived to surrender herself.
Police have identified the woman as Sribhasyam Vasundhara, 46-year-old native of Giddalur in Prakasam district. The deceased is Sribhasyam Ravichandra Suri, aged 53, of Narasaraopeta, a private employee in Renigunta.

Renigunta Circle Inspector Ch. Anju Yadav disclosed that Vasundhara had been worried over the future of her 20-year-old son, whose mental growth is not in line with his age.
The woman confessed to police that she took the extreme step as she was doubtful about the future of her son and family owing to the attitude of her husband.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
