…assures motor spare parts dealers, other businesses of enhanced security

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi, on Thursday, vowed to flush out hoodlums, cultists and other criminals terrorising businesses and residents of the council area.

Tidi, while responding to an online media report, alleging that cultists have taken over some areas in the Warri South Local Government Area, assured the people, especially motor spare parts dealers in Lower Erejuwa, Warri of adequate security.

He said the report of the security breach came to him as a shock; as there was no information about security infraction in the area throughout the festive period.

The local council boss pledged to support security agents to flush out criminal elements.

Dr Tidi also called on parents to advise their children to desist from cult-related activities and other forms of criminality in the interest of all.
He warned that those who breach the extant security laws will be prosecuted in the law courts.
