The Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Ferguson Onwo has felicitated with Isoko Nation and Deltans on this year’s Christmas celebration.
Hon. Onwo who represents Isoko South II Constituency, and who is also, Chairman House Committee on Information, extended his Yuletide wishes to the people in a statement released in Asaba, the state capital.
Hon. Onwo in the statement, enjoined the people to reflect on the reasons for the celebration by engaging in activities that will be commensurate to the works and teachings of Jesus Christ whose birthday is being celebrated.
The Lawmaker expressed joy over the commitment of the Okowa’s administration to ‘the things of God’, saying that as ‘a praying state’, God’s mercies shall continue to take charge of the affairs of Delta State.
He assured that the PDP-led government in the state would continue to impact positively on the lives of Deltans, noting that the development strides of the administration would be sustained.
The Majority Leader stressed that the ‘Stronger Delta’ mantra of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is on course, maintaining that every sector of Delta State economy is receiving the required attention.
He expressed optimism that the 2022 financial year will be favorable to the state, saying that several projects, programmes and other policies of government captured in the 2022 budget would further raise standard of lives and infrastructure in the state.
The Lawmaker enjoined the people of Isoko South II Constituency to remain focused, law abiding and supportive to good governance in the state, and assured them of more dividends of democracy.
He wished all a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
