As Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members continue in their struggle for the creation of Biafra, singer Speed Darlington has said that he doesn’t want to belong to a country of only Igbo people.
The singer stated this during an exchange with an Instagram user who took to his page to warn him against speaking ill of Nnamdi Kanu.
Recall that a few days ago, Speed Darlington had frowned at the constant sit-at-home order issued by IPOB members. He opined that the directive had an adverse effect on people of the SouthEast who are forced to close their shops any day the directive is issued.
Responding to the IG user who gave him a warning not to speak against Kanu, Speed Darlington opined that the diversity of Nigeria is what makes us interesting and that he doesn’t want a country where two or one language only will be spoken.

The Late Ojukwu was a man that loved his people. He was born into wealth as his father was the richest in Nigeria, a trained soldier by the British and the Nigerian army – he even rose through the ranks. The current person left Nigeria to London; what did he achieve? There are two types of war – the first is a military confrontation; to succeed, you need 1. Funds, 2. Equipment or foreign support, 3. Internal support. These three factors are non-existent in the current Biafra struggle. Igbos are the richest in Nigeria, but the rich Igbos created wealth and businesses outside Igboland – all of them don’t support this war as it affects their hustle. Equipment – without proper funding, it is impossible to have real weapons to fight; outside forces or countries would not help as Igboland does not have natural resources to benefit. Support – with ESN killing its people coupled with the rich billionaire Igbos against this war, IPOB or ESN only have the permission of poor people who cannot make the change. If you compare these three areas to Niger Delta, notice significant differences – funding is from oil bunkering, the equipment can be easily purchased from open seas; Support – politicians, and locals have benefited, and nobody in the Niger Delta was killed. MNK knows he has lost out and likely will not come out of jail! FGN killed 2 million Igbos! It is unlikely sitting at home or having no elections will work. After many years of ruling Nigeria, the north is no better than any state in the South East. In fact, it plays to the northern advantage, which is to make Igboland economically inviable and unstable —the second type of war is an economic war this is the best type of war, and very effective – the greater your economic power, the more say you have – it is similar to china vs the USA. Igbos should increase their economic and political powers – further their interest, and own Nigeria economically.
