• Tidi mourns, says death monumental loss to Warri, Uvwie

Hon. Dennis Omovie, who represented Warri South Constituency II in Delta State House of Assembly is dead.

Realtime.ng gathered that Hon. Omovie died this morning, Wednesday August 11 at Lily Clinic, Warri.

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Micheal Tidi, in a condolence message to the family of the former lawmaker, said; the death of Hon. Omovie is “a monumental loss to the people of Warri South and Uvwie LGAs.”

Tidi also stated that “the late lawmaker’s legislative sagacity, unassuming qualitative representation, respect for party’s ideology and ingenuity in fostering peaceful co-existence among people of Warri South Constituency 2″,  were some of the hallmarks that made him an outstanding lawmaker.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Council Area, I condole with the family of Late Chief Dennis Omovie.

“This is a personal loss. May God give the bereaved family and his numerous associates the fortitude to bear this death,” Tidi said.
