
Instagram personality Ramon Abass also known as Hushpuppi has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to engage in money laundering, according to a report by BBC.
Hushpuppi agreed to appear and plead guilty before a District Court for the Central District of California, United States Of America.
The alleged internet fraudster now risks 20-year jail term, has agreed to make restitution of proceeds of his crime.
Some of the charges preferred against him include money laundering, wire fraud, and felony, among others.
In a plea agreement document yesterday, Hushpuppi agreed to plead guilty as charged.
The document was signed by Hushpuppi; his lawyer, Loius Shapiro; Acting United States Attorney, Tracy Wilkison, amongst others.
