A final year student of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has been shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
The victim, Augustine Izu of Department of Political Science, was killed when the gunmen invaded his compound in Ugbowo, Edo State on Tuesday evening, June 29, 2021, a few hours after his final paper.
While he died on the spot, his friend, Walter Emeka survived a gun shot in the arm.
Emeka is said to be responding to treatment.
