Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has applauded Twitter for removing President Muhammadu Buhari‘s tweet about Nigerian civil war which killed one million people, majorly in the South-Eastern Region deemed to have violated its ”abusive behaviour” policy.
The tweet; “Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand”, Kanu said, was full of hate and does not have a place in 21st Century.
Mazi Kanu furher stated that President Buhari should be aware that this is 2021, not 1967.
Nnamdi Kanu wrote: “Thank you, @Twitter for DELETING the hate-filled tweet by the account fronting as @MBuhari.
What you did prove is that the rulers of Nigeria who feel they’re not accountable to #Biafrans for their crimes will ultimately account to the international community. #ThisIsNot1967.”
