Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday arrived Oporoza in Gbaramatu kingdom to appeal to the former militant commander of Movement for Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), Chief Government Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo to rescind his decision about the ultimatum of inaugurating substantive board for Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Tompolo had issued a seven-day ultimatum to the federal government for the inauguration of the board.
Akpabio was received at the Osubi Airport in Delta State by the state Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro and his younger brother, Chief Dennis Otuaro en route to Oporoza.
