The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a member of Abia State vigilante group, identfied as Okorie Chukwuma, for allegedly killing his boss, Mr Eyinaya Ogbonna and fleeing with his car to Port Harcourt to sell it.

Eyinaya Ogbonna, a businessman based in the United States of America, had returned to Nigeria to invest, and was building a gas station.

He employed the suspect, Okorie through Abia State Vigilante Service to work for him and safeguard the gas facility.

However, the suspect, Okorie Chukwuma, reportedly conspired with his colleague, and shot his boss dead with a pump-action gun when he was visiting the facility.

After the murder, Okorie stole Ogbonna’s car (Toyota Venza), and drove it to Port Harcourt, where he was arrested.

The suspect confessed to the crime during an interview with journalists.
