Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, who also doubles as National Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee on Wednesday married a fourth wife, Gumsu Sani Abacha; daughter of former Nigeria military head of state, Gen. Sanni Abacha.
The marriage ceremony was held at Abuja – in the residence of Mohammed Abacha, Gumsu’s brother.
The event was well attended by dignitaries and top government executives, including the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hameed Ali.
Buni in 2019 shortly after he assumed office, tied the knot with Ummy, a daughter of his predecessor and incumbent Yobe East Senator, Ibrahim Gaidam.
45-year-old Gumsu was formerly married to Bayero Mohamadou, a Cameroonian multi-billionaire, but the marriage crashed in 2020.
