Members of the NKST (Nongu u Kristu u I Ser u sha Tar) Church – Universal Reformed Christian Church, Achusa, Makurdi, Benue State, last Sunday, locked their pastor and his supporters out of the church.
The pastor was asked to vacate his seat and leave the church for preaching doctrine they said was alien to the church.
Worshippers who turned up for Sunday service were stranded as they could not get into the church premises.
The pastor and his supporters remained adamant and insisted they will not leave the church.
However, under the NKST church rules, only the Synod in Mkar, Gboko can sanction a resident pastor.
