- To kick-off with Isoko South LGA
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council will today, Friday 12th February, commence a one-on-one chat with chairmanship candidates of political parties for Delta State local government election.
NUJ in a release made available to Realtime.ng said, the media session will offer candidates the opportunity to unfold their manifestoes to the electorate and the general public.
The session is scheduled to kick-start at IDU Secretariat, Oleh Roundabout, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, at 11am.
The release also called on supporters of the candidates wishing to participate in the media session to attend punctually.
The Chairman, NUJ, Delta State Council, Comrade Michael Ikeogwu assured Deltans that “the NUJ will use everything in its professional and constitutional capacity to hold these set of intending political leaders at the third tier of Government responsible, and by extension any other politician holding one position or the other in the State and beyond”.
