Mobile courts for enforcement of Covid-19 protocols in Delta State will resume sitting today, Monday 8 February, according to information from the office of the Secretary (SG) to Delta State Government.

The Zonal Heads in Asaba, Agbor, Ughelli, Warri and Sapele have been directed by the SG to deploy state counsels to each of the mobile courts in the zones to prosecute offenders.

The information, made available to Realtime.ng further directs the zonal leaders to furnish the Secretary to the State Government and Permanent Secretaries with the name of the officer assigned to the mobile court latest by 8am on Monday, February 8 2021.

The general public is therefore advised by the state government to wear face masks in public places, maintain safe distance, wash hands with soap and running water, and comply with all the protocols aimed at reducing the spread of Covid-19.

The Zonal Heads in Asaba, Agbor, Ughelli, Warri and Sapele are hereby informed that mobile courts for the enforcement of Covid-19 protocols will resume sittings tomorrow Monday 8th February 2021. The Zonal heads are to deploy a State Counsel each to the mobile courts in the mentioned zones to prosecute offenders.

The Zonal leaders are to furnish the SG/PS with the name of the officer assigned to the mobile court latest by 8am on Monday 8th February 2021.

Arrangements are being put in place for the logistics of the Counsel prosecuting.
