The Delta State Government, Tuesday, approved the release of funds for payment of 2019/2020 bursary to students of the state origin in tertiary institutions across the country.
Delta State Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu disclosed this in Asaba, and added that the payment would commence before the end of the week.
He said, “the continuous payment of bursary to students of Delta State origin in spite of the economic hardship in the country was a demonstration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s commitment to human capital development”.
Aniagwu urged students of the state origin to take advantage of the bursary payment to ramp up their studies and continue to be good ambassadors of the state in their various chosen fields of endeavours.
