The Warri Correctional Centre in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State was on Thursday attacked by suspected hoodlums.
A source told Realtime.ng that the hoodlums reportedly attacked the prison and freed some inmates.
It was also gathered that some inmates in the centre who were carrying out menial works outside the fence of the prison allegedly escaped following the attack.
