There was pandemonium at Umusume community in Obiaruku, headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State when residents woke up to discover the lifeless body of a young lady; according to a report monitored on Niger Delta Today.
It was gathered that the lady identified as Miss Anwuli Joy Agu, in her 20s was said to have been killed by unknown persons.
The incident happened on Sunday morning, causing panic among residents of the area.
Sources claimed the killing could be connected to ritual activities in the area as some vital organs of the lady were said to be missing and her hair shaved off.
The remains of the lady were evacuated from the scene by operatives of the Delta Police Command attached to Obiaruku Division.
Efforts to speak with State Police Command on the incident proved abortive.
