The 260 returning Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), whose flight arrival was delayed following the delivery of a baby by a lady onboard the aircraft have arrived safely the country.

The Emirates Airlines aircraft evacuating the Nigerians from the UAE as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic, arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, after so much apprehension.

According to the Regional Manager, South West of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN), Mrs Victoria Shin – Abah, the aircraft arrived 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

Reports say, after they alighted from the aircraft, profiled by security, health and border control officials at the airport, the 260 evacuees were conveyed to the isolation centre prepared by the Lagos State Government and National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
