At a press briefing in the White House, President Donald Trump of the United States showed a video to media persons pointing their successes and failures in reporting the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump said, “We have a few clips that we’re just going to put up, we could just turn the lights down lower, I think you’ll find them interesting. And then we’ll answer some questions, I’ll ask you some questions because you’re so guilty, but forget it.”

According to the texts in the video, the risk was minimized by the media from the beginning. This was before showing a couple of clips from the past of significant media persons downplaying the virus threat. The video also showed the measures taken by the President, step by step, in handling the crisis.

One of the clips showed reporter of the New York Times, Maggie Haberman, speaking on Trump’s travel ban on China as an effective step to control the outbreak.

Further, the clip showed how the Democratic Governors had praised Trump.

However, the reporters who were confused by the clips questioned its authenticity and source.
